Physiotherapy areas
Our main physiotherapy practice is musculoskeletal- ie orthopaedic, rheumatologic, and sports conditions. We treat stiff joints (including frozen shoulders, tennis or golfer's elbow, trigger finger and wrist pains), neck and back aches. Patients who undergo physiotherapy tend to have better functional scores. Pre- and post ACL repair. We also see people with knee pain (including arthritis related pains).
We also offer physiotherapy for people with mild strokes to help with balance and fall prevention, as well as mobilising to prevent contractures.
People with cancer can benefit from cancer rehab- where physiotherapy helps with coping with pain, fatigue from treatment, and understanding their condition through education.
Women's health is another area of our practice- and we see women with urinary incontinence from weak pelvic muscles, osteoporosis, arthritis and overuse injuries.

We assess your current medical history, the state of injury and discuss your treatment goals. Together, we will draw up a care plan.

The care plan will measures your progress and record the outcome of treatment objectively. The plan may be revised accordingly to maximize your recovery.
We will respect your degree of comfort and support your confidence throughout the physiotherapy treatment.
Physiotherapy adds value
The Singapore Health Minister blogs : "My personal experience has made me appreciate even more the important role played by physiotherapists... As in many things in life, there are no instant results. We must have the discipline to work at it, regularly, consistently, and the results will show. But we must be patient and persevere at it."
Your first treatment and assessment session lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour. This will include a one-to-one consultation with your physiotherapist, and treatment.
Subsequent appointments monitor your progress, and address issues to improve your confidence. We may reinforce, or alter, the exercises prescribed, or use a different healing modality. But it's always personal, and supportive.
You can save more with some packaged treatments. It's important to understand that physiotherapy benefits will be realised gradually (over time), rather than after a single session.
Time-saving therapies are available if you have time for only short sessions.

Back to function
The Singapore Health Minister blogs: "Post surgery rehab programme to get the patients back on their feet is an essential part of a hip replacement surgery service. He (a senior physician he spoke to) believed that it was not easily available in the private sector."
"These conversations gave me food for thought. What does a successful surgery mean? It cannot be narrowly defined as the patient surviving the operating theatre. For drastic operations like bypass or hip replacement, success must be defined as the patient regaining his former fitness level and functionality. This means months of serious, structured rehabilitation."
We believe physiotherapy fulfils this role in supporting functional recovery.
